Our Mission:

Inspire top-notch piano music-making. We offer young talents the chance to collaborate with and learn from world-class pianists. Our festival emphasizes the diverse roles of a pianist, from virtuoso to teacher. We celebrate different global piano traditions.

Proudly under the umbrella of Patrons of Exceptional Artists, we are dedicated to spotlighting extraordinary talents and linking them to the timeless traditions of the past. Recognized as a pivotal recital series in Rogaland, we feature artists with unique voices who redefine the piano repertoire.

Eco-Friendly Festival:

Committed to sustainability, we've joined hands with local entities for waste recycling during the event and encourage eco-friendly transport options for attendees. Supporting local vendors and farmers, we emphasize local produce to reduce transport impact. Join us in championing a greener future through music!

The Stavanger International Piano Festival’s objective is simple: to inspire, support and encourage music-making at the piano of the highest quality.
